I was dreading writing this post..... The property we were renting for our repair shop sold in May. Not much of a warning. I had to scramble to sell shop equipment and move. Today is my last day at the location. I want to thank all my customers who made it possible for me over the last few years. I was so luck to have some of the best clients any shop owner could ask for. As of now I will continue to do towing and roadside assistance until I move South.. I will not be opening up another shop or conducting any further business in NY. Thank you

So I am anti 3rd parties getting involved with our profession. Agero, NSD, Autoreturn etc.... Too many chefs in the kitchen is causing our profit margins to dwindle significantly and they are dictating what they pay us. Of course, nothing will ever change because companies keep running these calls for next to nothing and when they go out of business, there is one right behind it to replace it. I attached pictures of what Honk Technologies is charging customers and what they a...re paying us. $240 is what they are charging the customer and $104 is what they are paying us. They are pocketing $136 with barely any risk involved. They are charging consumers $75 to hook for light duty,$150 Hook for Medium/ $9 per mile. My research has yielded that they are taking anywhere from 47% to 58% .So for those of you who accept these calls, keep in mind those calls are benefiting a CEO out of silicone valley. Your contributing to that second, maybe third vacation home for them. At the same time your depriving yourself, families, employees, and an the industry as a whole.
