Our Addiction Recovery Program Manager took our students on a recent adventure to Whiteface Mountain! The outdoors and physical activity can be so important to mental and physical wellness and strength. Our students were able to enjoy a beautiful New York Fall day by hiking and camping while also building relationships and continuing their journey to recovery.

Happy Wednesday Friends! During uncertain times some of our youngest residents at our Coldwater House for Women and Children recently took a break to have a little fun. They were able to learn some cartooning! Since opening two years ago, Coldwater has been home to 40 families, including approximately 96 children. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who made this happen! ... #hopelives

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful (Colossians 3:15, NIV). Mondays may fill you with anxiety because you know your to-do list seems impossible to complete between work, family, daily life activities, on top of homeschooling, all while juggling this pandemic. Although Mondays may cause stress, Mondays can also bring ease and peace to us as we know God will be present for every moment of the week ahead, and he will hear your cry every time you feel anxiety in the week to come. Let us go through this week and be reminded of his love and faithfulness in everything we do! #hopelives #Mondaymotivation

Happy Thursday! When the Mission learned that the Longnecker family was collecting personal hygiene items this past summer, we were thrilled! Our supplies were very low and it was difficult to provide our emergency shelter guests with the essentials they count on to maintain good hygiene. Thanks again to the Longneckers who inspire us all to find practical ways to help our neighbors in need!... #hopelives

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:1618 #MondayMotivation #PrayForOurCity #ROC #HopeLives

Check out today's latest video check-in from Anna, our Executive Director. In today's video, Anna gives an update on our Coldwater house, and how it has affected the community in the last two years of being open to those in need. Along with this, Anna gives an update on our new women's Addiction recovery program and how, as the new school year begins, we as a community face this new challenge together. We thank you for your continued support and prayers as none of this would have been made possible without you!
