*******STATUS UPDATE: BAHAMAS ******* Our dedicated team in #Abaco has officially been on the ground for over 8 months of continuous operations since #hurricanedorian! We have now delivered well over 1/2 Million pounds of aid, provided access to well over 3 Million gallons of water, and provided critical infrastructure assets (Fire trucks, medical equipment, water filtration, emergency response planning and integration). Our dedicated team led by the amazing Jana Stone con...tinues to monitor the pulse of the islands needs and provide it to the best of our ability through our amazing Logistics Director James Cameron, working with true friends and partners to get the job done, all while dealing with the implications of COVID-19. These are unique and trying times, but the communities we serve in Abaco are still in great need since the storm and as another #hurricaneseason approaches, it’s more critical now more than ever. We are focused on meeting the needs of our dear friends on the island relating to #foodscarcity, #water filtration & distribution, #roofrepair, #ppe, promoting #socialdistancing, #medicalsupplies, and general distribution of goods to those in need. Please consider supporting our dear friend Moses and his foundation. The foundations mission is clear and simple, get clean water to those who need it. Our sisters and brothers in Texas are days without power/water and a technology that can be used during both emergency and non-emergency situations to increase community preparedness and allow municipalities to be proactive. It can be sustainably powered (with the option to use a regular generator as well), it’s easily deployed, and would greatly reduce plastic waste for every single response/recovery. most importantly, it saves lives.
