**WEATHER UPDATE** The first of two minor storms this week is anticipated to arrive this evening with a chance of rain / freezing rain. Immediately following this system, another system of the same type is anticipated to impact the Hudson Valley beginning on Friday night into Saturday. TONIGHT - A chance of rain or freezing rain between 9pm and 10pm, then rain likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. Southwest wind 10 to 13 mph. Chanc...e of precipitation is 60%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. THURSDAY - A 30 percent chance of rain before 9am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 44. Northwest wind 7 to 11 mph. THURSDAY NIGHT- Partly cloudy, with a low around 21. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening. More updates as they become available.

**WEATHER UPDATE** OC has been impacted by a large rain / wind even which due to the recent snow storm has caused wide spread minor-flooding throughout the area. OC currently has appx 13,500 customers without power and remains in a FLOOD WATCH until 11:00 a.m. this morning. ... ROADWAYS I-87 (Northbound) has a report of a mudslide across northbound lanes which crews are currently working on cleaning up. Traffic is passable but will be delayed. Multiple smaller roadways throughout the county have reported blocked conditions due to down trees/ wires. We anticipate this to continue throughout the day. POWER OUTAGES There are currently multiple pockets of power outage locations throughout the county impacting several people. O&R - 6,321 - est restoration time 3:30 p.m. CH - 5,816 - est restoration time pending NYSEG - 705 - est restoration time 11:30 a.m. FLOODING Although there are small pockets of minor urban flooding throughout the area, there is no indication of any wide-spread flooding at 'Action' stage levels. **WEATHER UPDATE** Orange County is currently in a Flood Watch and Wind Advisory which will remain in effect through 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. * Rain will become heavy at times tonight into early Friday morning. The rain will lighten and eventually end late Friday... morning into Friday afternoon. Total rainfall of 2 to 4 is forecast. * Excessive runoff in areas of low lying and poor drainage as well as urban areas could result in flooding. Some area rivers and streams may exceed bankfull. ..WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST FRIDAY... * South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected. * Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Additional information and updates as they become available.

**WINTER STORM UPDATE** - 7:30 a.m. CURRENT WEATHER OC remains in a Winter Storm Warning until 1:00 p.m. ... TRANSPORTATION I-84 / I-87 / Route 17 - are all open and passable, but still considered treacherous due to the continued falling and blowing snow. Drive slowly and carefully. Consider keeping a blanket in your car (just in case). MTA is running regular weekday services although there may be some delays. Please check their website for updates. https://new.mta.info/ POWER OUTAGES Currently there are only 20 customers without power in Orange County with an estimated restoration time of appx 3:30 p.m. GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS There are NO closures to County or other governmental buildings reported to OCEM at this time. Should that change, we will update and share on FB immediately. 'OFFICIAL' STORM TOTALS are still coming in. We will post final updates as they become available - however, feel free to post and share below photos of your area. **STORM UPDATE** OC remains in a Winter Storm Warning until 1:00 p.m. this afternoon. There are NO State of Emergency Declarations for Orange County as of this time. ... There are no reported road closures as of this time. However all roads are considered treacherous. Please avoid driving if at all possible. If you must travel please be sure to drive slowly, leave extra room between you and other vehicles and leave plenty of time for you to make it to you destination. MTA schedules may be altered due to the storm. Check the MTA website for updates https://new.mta.info/ Snow removal crews continue to clear major roadways where possible, however, full clean up and restoration is anticipated to take the majority of the day as COVID-19 has impacted several smaller town / village DPW staffing levels. Currently there are a total of 409 customers without power; T. Newburgh - 113 (no est restoration time available) Mechanicstown - 286 (est restoration time 5am) Snowfall Totals @ 12:30 a.m.; Monroe 8.0 - Trained Spotter Newburgh 7.0 - Trained Spotter Salisbury Mills 6.5 - Trained Spotter New Windsor 6.0 - Public Middletown 4.8 - Fire Dept/Rescue Roads are passable but treacherous. Local area public are advised to remain home wherever possible. Next updated at appx 7am.

Customers are advised not to take unnecessary travel. HUDSON LINE: Inbound: The last train departing Poughkeepsie will leave at 9:45 pm, arriving GCT at 11:43 pm, and the last train departing Croton-Harmon will leave at 10:56 pm, arriving GCT at 12:12 am. Outbound: The last train departing GCT to Croton-Harmon will leave at 11:21 pm. The last train departing GCT to Poughkeepsie will leave at 11:44 pm.

**WINTER STORM WARNING** A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect throughout the entire region Tri-State Region. Much of the region will see 8-12 inches of snowfall with areas in northern and higher elevations seeing up to possibly 18, with some areas seeing up to 1-3" per hour snowfall rate. ... Liquid/snow ratios are expected to be 10/1 which will give us on average a lighter average snow (not heart attack snow) Winds are anticipated to remain at 20-35mph with gusts up to 50mph possible. Timing of this storm is anticipated to begin around 3:00-5:00 p.m. and is expected to remain until approximately 11:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. At this time OCEM would like to remind area residents to consider taking the following preparedness activities * Fill up all gas tanks, generators and firewood cribs * Charge all electronics in the event of potential power outages * Don't forget the bread and milk * Bring in all pets * Ensure snow brushes and ice scrapers are in the vehicle * Keep an extra blanket in the car for emergencies Our next NWS briefing will be at appx 6:00 p.m. this evening. **Indian Point Full Volume Siren Test** In accordance with existing federal mandates, OCEM would like to advise residents that there will be a FULL VOLUME SIREN TEST of the Indian Point Energy Center siren system will be conducted TOMORROW between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. throughout the 10-mile Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ) around Indian Point, including the sirens in Orange County. During this full-system activation test, sirens will sound simultaneously for four minutes.... The sirens will sound at full-volume for the entire duration of the test. No action on the part of the public is necessary or required for this drill.

**NY AIR SHOW UPDATE** PARKING ADVISORY: Spectators with tickets attending the NYS Air Show on Saturday and Sunday will need to enter the gate identified and designated on your ticket (see map below). ... Dunn Road (Gates 3 & 9) is limited exclusively to VIP parking pass holders. Additionally, please know that there is NO PARKING allowed on Route 211 or Route 416 during the show. This will be strictly enforced by local law enforcement. SHOW SPECIFICS: Please remember, there are NO vendors for food / drink on site this year. All guests are advised to bring their own food and drink as well as their own bags for trash collection. There are NO static displays, and social distancing will be monitored in accordance with existing policies and directives.

I Steve Brescia have declared a State of Emergency in the Village of Montgomery. All residents are ordered to shelter in place until 6:00 am unless they have an... emergency. In that case call or text 911. Treat all wires as if they are live. Residents please get to your homes. The electric company is assessing damage, and the Village DPW is clearing roadways. There are live wires near the corner of Cardinal Drive and Chandler Lane and other areas.Weaver was Street and Union Street were hit especially hard. O&R’S PROVIDING FOOD, MEDICINE SPOILAGE REIMBURSEMENTS FOR STORM ISAIAS CUSTOMERS WHO LOST POWER FOR 2 DAYS OR MORE O&R announced today that the company will reimburse customers for food and prescription medicine spoilage if they lost power for 48 consecutive hours or longer during Tropical Storm Isaias, which slammed the region Tuesday. O&R Vice President Customer Service Christina Ho said, Being without power, even during normal times, is a real hardship. It’s even more... difficult now because of COVID-19. She added, To help our customers impacted by the destructive forces of Tropical Storm Isaias, we have expanded our claims process for customers who lost power in the storm. If you lost power for more than 48 consecutive hours as a result of the storm, please fill out a claims form at: https://www.oru.com/en/services-and-outages/claim-form to cover your costs for spoiled food, medication or perishable commercial merchandise. Residential customers may receive reimbursements for up to $235 with an itemized list, or up to $540 with an itemized list and proof of loss (with receipts, photos etc.). Commercial customers are eligible for up to $10,700 for losses of perishable merchandise spoiled due to lack of refrigeration (with receipts, photos, invoices, etc.). Requests for reimbursement must be filed on or before September 8, 2020.
