STACKS OF CLOTHES . You’re in a rush and pull out those jeans from the middle of the pile and accidentally all the bottom pairs come falling out. . There is absolutely no chance of pulling out a cashmere sweater without ALL of them coming apart!!... . SOLUTION-Short Stacks Keep your piles low. Jeans 5> Sweaters 3> T-shirts 3-6 if you fold your t shirts in half, it will difficult to place or take out. Fold your shirts in half and half for sturdy piles. Real Organizing DOES NOT Mean Minimalism I know it’s frustrating going through a space, decluttering it and placing things into individual bins wanting your closet to look like that PERFECT organizing post. Unless you’re a practicing minimalist, (MOST of us aren’t) or you have closets the size of bedrooms (MOST of us don’t) you won’t achieve that look. And that’s okay!!! Believe it or not-most organizing posts you see on Instagram are staged. The above photo is not staged at ...all (just a bit brighter than the original :) ) True organizing means being able to quickly find what you’re looking for without searching for it. This is a guest closet in my client’s home. They have a large family who often visit in bulk and she wants to make sure that anything they may need is on hand and easy to locate. Each bin is clearly labeled and categorized: personal items on top shelf, medical items on middle, and bath and body on bottom shelf. Stackable containers with lids are great! @target they come different shapes and sizes and are practical for shelves that don’t adjust.
