Our State President Anthony Naccarato was asked to contribute a short video as part of a virtual Columbus Day Parade this year, in place of the annual in person parade in NYC. In this short three minute video, Tony speaks a little bit about his own immigrant experience and a little bit about the significance of Columbus in his life. https://youtu.be/t8YSzNiYQG4

We have an approx. 50 ft tall Black Walnut tree on our property that we'd be glad to have taken down. Can keep all of the wood in exchange. Reply here if interested.

Our annual Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Torrey Park Monument will be taking place today at 6:00 pm. All are invited to attend what will be a brief ceremony - approx. 15-20 minutes at most. We will be hosting a little reception at the lodge immediately following the wreath laying. There will be food, sweets, coffee and wine. Both members and non-members are welcome.

Today is our traditional annual day to celebrate the accomplishments of the Italian explorer Cristobal Colombo and all of Italian and Italian American heritage and achievement through the centuries. I've used the image below because it illustrates the perils of that original journey and the courage it took Columbus and his men to take it. In our modern world, many people wish to put the blame for all the evils that took place in the Americas over the next 500 years on the sh...oulders of Columbus, totally ignoring the unfairness of those accusations, the inaccuracies, and the enormity of all the great things that came about over the next 500 years due to that initial voyage. So, today and throughout the month of October, regardless of if you are Italian, Italian American or another ethnicity, celebrate with us all of the GREAT accomplishments of Italy, Italians and all who are descendants of Italians. We have much to be proud of. See more

Brothers and Sisters of Geneva Lodge: It is my sad duty to inform everyone that Past President John Gregoria has passed. John was a charter member of the lodge and served as president on three different occasions. He was a very dedicated member who worked very hard through the years to see that the lodge succeeded in all of it's endeavors. I would hope that many of our living past presidents, and that many members, will be able to attend the graveside service this coming Frid...ay at 1:00 pm at St. Mary's Cemetery on PreEmption Rd. in Geneva. The cemetery is approx. one mile north of the intersection at North St. and PreEmption Rd. We will perform our Ritual for Deceased Members at that time. Please show your support.
