The Heath Homestead

As part of the ministry of the First Church of Ossian, we are very happy to see this ‘Little Free Library’ (though it’s is not so little!) up and functioning in our little town of Ossian! A big thank you to Bill Stekl and his craftsmanship and Bob Vanderbosch for his organization of it and installation along with the help of James Leach (the first benefactor reader ) Stop over at the Homestead to check it out and please feel free, with our ‘take a book-leave a book’ for both adults and children, to keep a Bible!

We had a great time Sunday doing our very first Trunk or Treat!!! Had fun decorating the trunks and dressing up. Also enjoying the company of family and friends.

It’s Sunday Afternoon cards again! Each Sunday (unless posted) euchre card party will begin at 2 pm sharp! Light refreshments will be available until November, when a full out lunch and dessert buffet is provided by the Ossian ladies Aid. The lunch runs from noon-2. The lunch is by donation. We love to see people enjoy our food and would like it if you keep in mind that we offer this up as our mission to support charities and individuals in need! The more you give, the more we can offer to others less fortunate! Ladies Aid = volunteer woman working to help others in need.
