FYI: The Club IS NOT presently accepting any memberships for 2021. We have received a few on our 2020 application. They're not being accepted. If you have done so I suggest you cancel the payment transaction. The board is presently going over changes for 2021 before any memberships will be accepted. A announcement will be made once memberships can be accepted along with all changes. T.Y.

FYI: TRAILS ARE CLOSED! NO EXCEPTIONS. Landowner complaints of Atv's on their land using trails while trying to hunt this past wknd. We may loose another section if this CRAP continues. 1 landowner has sent the club a warning with good reason. If your on a club trail it is TRESPASSING. If caught Law Enforcement can and may confiscate your machine, charge you and if convicted its up to a $250 fine. Plus whatever impound costs are. So STAY OFF!!!

The Oswego County Atv Club would like to thank our landowners for allowing the use of your properties to create a Atv recreational riding sport in our area. Thanks to our business sponsers for supporting the club and this sport. Thanks to all the memberx that helped to hold this club together doing all the volunteer work needed to keep operations going. The club saw a record high membership number for 2020. Even during trying times and year for all. The club is addressing many issues created this season and some changes are to be expected for 2021.

NOTICE: ALL TRAILS ARE CLOSED!! NO EXCEPTIONS. Ive gotten reports of Atv's riding the Barclay Trail and the Trail by Lakewood products. Area landowners are HOT as theyve been trying to hunt while this nonsense is going in. FYI: Gun season started Sat Oct. 24th. This makes for a DANGEROUS situation!! There WILL be trepassing charges pressed if you are caught. It is being watched now.

TRAIL UPDATE: As of 10pm today 09/30/2020, all OCATV Club trails are CLOSED. If anyone is caught on the Trails after 10pm this day it is trespassing. Many landowners will be on their properties for hunting season. Closed means Closed. Thank you. See you in 2021!

OCATV Club would like to give a HUGE thank you to The Oswego County Sheriffs Dept for being out and Patroling the trail system today!

ATV PATROLS: Requesting all Patrol persons to be out on trails this coming wknd. 2nd at seasons end I need all Patrol persons to turn in plates and vests. Going to make some update Atv Patrol changes for 2021 present items will no longer be used.

END OF SEASON: Im receiving many questions on when our club trails close. The remaining open trails will CLOSE SEPT 30th at 10pm for season.

MEMBERSHIPS: As of today 09/21/2020 the club will not be accepting anymore 2020 season memberships. Day passes will still be excepted at $10ea per person by appt only. 2021 Memberships begin in January.

HELMETS: While walking a section of woods off the trail I saw a sxs with a couple and 2 small children, none of which were wearing helmets. Also another couple with the male driver not wearing a helmet pass by. I was too far into the woods to stop them. Helmets ARE TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. Its not a exception. Put the Brain Buckets on or dont ride the trails.

TRAIL UPDATE; Barclay Trail is officially CLOSED until next season. Gates will be closed, please DO NOT attempt to ride it. Its a yrly closing as requested by the Hunting Club that uses the property. Thank You.

NOTICE: The banks of the Redfield Reservoir ARE NOT open to Atv use. It is a NYSDEC classfied body of water which makes it OFF LIMITS to motorized vehicle use. Regardless if the water level is low. The NYSDEC has been contacted, The County Legislator is aware of it, The Oswego County Sheriffs iDept. s aware of it. If your caught and ticketed, its on you! There is very strong talk of shutting down the Town of Redfield to Atv' access next year due to this abuse and persons not remaining on the legal Atv routes. All I can say is if persons want to loose whats been gained keep doing ignorant disrespectful riding like that!! REMAIN OFF THE BANKS OF THE RESERVOIR ITS ILLEGAL!!!

RECOGNITION: The Oswego County ATV Club would like to thank The Oswego County Sheriffs Dept for doing Atv Patrols this past wknd. The club received many positive words from landowners, area businesses, and members. It was so appreciated and we look forward to more patrolling in the future!!

TRAIL NOTICE: Recd word from a landowner today (whom I will not name) that he is highly disappointed in how some riders have treated his property. Riding too fast, widening the trail by not going through water holes, and purposely tearing things up. He has informed the club that his land will be CLOSED off to Atv use next season. I am not saying the trail at this time, but it is one of the clubs main routes and it is a shame because the landowner has been VERY supportive of the club. He has advised we can finish out the season, but next year its CLOSED. This does put the club in a HUGE bind. But this is what happens when some riders do not follow the clubs rules and are disrepectful of our landowners properties.
