Troop 78 Boy Scouts Ovid NY

Proud of these boys for working so hard on their first aid requirements that will go towards rank advancements. Six of the boys will be attending a Camporee next weekend to also put their knowledge to working on the first aid merit badge. It's been busy the past few meetings but was nice to see the boys use their skills and knowledge tonight.

Reminder: scout night at Rochester Red Wings is this Saturday. Discount tickets are available and after the game you are invited to camp out on the field. If interested I can give you the contact information to order tickets.

All, I just talked with Chris Laflair from the Rochester Americans. I got some updated information for the scout event Joey is selling tickets for this Saturday. They have cancelled the parade on the ice. There wasn't enough interest from other units to go through all the work laying out carpets to do it. PACK AND TROOP 78 has been asked to have the honor of doing the color guard for the game. They want us to bring both our flags and they will provide their American flag. This will be for both boys and leaders! All who participate must dress in Class A. We need to meet by the store in the lobby at 7 so he can get us set up. This definitely will be a once in a lifetime opportunity!!! There is still time to buy tickets. Talk to Joey if you are interested!
