Here we go again! HELP!!! It’s another stressful day in rescue trying to figure out how to save ANOTHER NEGLECTED Cocker Spaniel that is crying out for HELP! ... Meet nine-year-old Brownie, this poor sweet soul was surrendered to the Manhattan Shelter in filthy, matted condition with a massive ear infection. On intake he yelped in pain when they tried to touch his ears. His cries immediately turned to growls. Who could blame him? The pain he is in must be unbearable! The shelter placed him on oral pain meds, antibiotics and sedated him in order to examine and treat his ears. Both of his ears are severely inflamed and stenotic but the left ear appears worse and may require TECA surgery. He needs to URGENTLY go to a veterinary hospital for continued care. He has other medical needs, neuter, dental etc. but that will have to be addressed later on. We can not rescue him without your HELP once again. We are inundated with medical cases and need to reach out to our village. A neglected Cocker Spaniel winds up being a medical nightmare costing $$$$. We know we do not have the resources, our bank account tell us we cannot do this, but our hearts tell us that we must! Together, we can rally to save Brownie.
