Seniors Nick Y., Bella P., Lea W., Kate M., Lily C., and Mele B. created The Packer Journal of History online publication to ground history in the present by sharing original writing and research and engaging the community in discussion. Since 2019, the club has provided unique student insights on the history of their local communities and personal backgrounds through their PJOH Profiles series and provided historical context for current events on their Instagram. This past summer, students read Stamped: Racism, Anti-Racism and You by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi.
