#membermonday @gwynethleech is an artist based in New York City whose painting practice focuses on the rapidly changing urban landscape as seen through the construction sites of high-rise buildings. Observational painting and the use of strong color are the core of Gwyneth’s process as she works from the same vantage points over months and years, capturing these monoliths as she dubs them in their many growth stages. A brand new series of these construction site paintings are available to view as a digital presentation on her website. It’s a great presentation - go to the link in her IG bio to browse the series.

welp, another year is coming to a close. and boy what a year it’s been! You all have stuck through it with us in big and small ways and for that, we are forever grateful. As we look around the corner at 2021, we are so thrilled to begin the next chapter of a curatorial journey which in truth has brought us back to where is all started. We are thrilled to begin curating online-only selections of works under $800 and unique art objects by emerging and underrepresented artists.... And the best way to help us dive into next year even stronger is by ingesting in our next chapter with us! One time gifts up to $100 will be MATCHED by our fiscal sponsor @fractured.atlas through 12/31 so click the donate tab in our linktree and invest in PARADICE PALASE 2021! When we first launched this platform in 2017 with a hope and prayer, our goal was to source, produce, and showcase small works and collectibles as an alternative to the tired contemporary gallery model. Little did we know that 3 years and loads of AB testing later, that a pandemic would bring us back to home plate. Starting February 1st we’ll have selections of artwork by the four incredible artists featured here - @paolopablopaul @jenshepardart @emilyoliveirastudio @asiaticyouth - and in tandem will be the release of 4 extra special apparel editions; one tee for each artist. The designs are almost complete and we can’t wait to show em off to you all. We hope you all have a safe, healthy, and happy rest of the year and we’ll see you in January!
