Christmas time is the perfect time to enjoy a mug of hot chocolate with your friends and family. Check out this yummy recipe from HERSHEY'S website: INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa... salt 4 cups milk (1 qt.) 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup water ho DIRECTIONS * Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in medium saucepan; stir in water. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil and stir 2 minutes. * Add milk; stir and heat until hot. Do Not Boil. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Beat with whisk until foamy. About six 6-ounce servings. * Note: Recipe may be doubled. * VARIATIONS: Add one of the following with the vanilla extract. * CINNAMON COCOA: 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. * MINT COCOA: 1/2 teaspoon mint extract OR 3 tablespoons crushed hard peppermint candy. * MOCHA COCOA: 1 to 2 tablespoons powdered instant coffee. #hersheys #hersheyschocolate #hotchocolate #warmandcozy

We are loving all of the fall decorations we are seeing around our community! Just a reminder to please do not use the bleach spray tip that is circling around social media to make pumpkins stay fresh longer. Bleach can be harmful if inhaled by any of our community pets, or squirrels and birds and other of nature’s neighbors. Instead try synthetic pumpkins or shop at local small pumpkin patches to skip the lines and bigger price tags when pumpkins need replacing!

For anyone who is new to our property from out of town: be sure to check out our local farmers markets to see all the great produce coming in from our local farmers! Grab your produce bag and go to www.localharvest.org , type in your zip code, and find all the best markets and farms!

Help your best friend beat the heat this summer with puppy ice pops! Blend up equal parts chicken stock and peanut butter, stir in some blue berries, divide into cubes of an ice tray and freeze! These are great for training a new puppy or a cool down snack after a walk!

Mimic designer products for around $8! Pick up any vase, jar, or glass canister at the dollar store, and coat the bottom half in a few layers of acrylic paint or spray paint, and done!

Please be mindful of temperatures when walking pets during summer months! Touch the pavement with the back of your hand, if you cannot hold it there for more than 5 seconds it is too hot for paws, bring water if outdoor time will be longer than 30 mins, and always clean up after your pup!
