With a B.A. in International Relations with a concentration on the Developing World and a Spanish minor from SUNY Geneseo, Dejia James serves as Racial Equity Initiatives Assistant at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo. She develops, supports and advances the Community Foundation’s commitment to racial/ethnic equity, and assists with the work of the Greater Buffalo Racial Equity Roundtable, a group of more than 35 community leaders from public, private, nonprofit and faith organizations committed to achieving racial equity in Western New York by expanding opportunities for all. She credits her experiences at Park for fully informing how she navigates the world today, and implores all her fellow alum and soon to be graduates to assess the world with a lens wider than their own view. #AlwaysLeading #AlumniSpotlight #ProudSchool
