Interesting proposal. Eliminate the ability to increase preferential rent to the Maximum Legal Rent in exchange for a dollar for dollar tax credit in property taxes? Would be great to test out the idea by giving landlords the ability to opt in for now.
Another day another anti-landlord law which will hamper much needed investment in New York City housing stock.
