An update: As this dark time for performers rolls along I’m seeing more and more venues close, more and more theaters shut down, more and more bands give up. Lately I’ve been giving a lot of thought to the future of the Patchwork, our situation is still as it was, we are paying out of pocket for a venue with no sign of being able to open and perform in the foreseeable future. It’s hard to keep fighting. Hard to keep paying, and impossible to plan for. If things keep going the... way the are then yes, there will come a day when we will turn off the lights and lock the doors for the last time, but for now at least we are still here and we are still fighting. We’ve moved to a virtual platform with the Patchwork Radio Theatre and we will keep that going and have big plans for it. But as far as our physical space, it may become unforfable and unsustainable without being able to run shows. But, again, for now, we’re still here and we’re still fighting. I want to thank Paul Gadawski for raising money to help us with a Pierogi campaign, and we started a patreon to help sustain the Radio Theatre and I want to thank the generous souls who are helping us there on a monthly basis. I want to thank you, the people that care and reach out and support what we do and tried to do since we started... 7 years ago? You amazing supportive people are the reason we’re still here and why we’re still fighting. Thank you, and I’ll see you all soon. -Billy See more
