More restoration work! While not the original exterior doors, these doors were part of the original building so they have been brought back to life as we do all we can to preserve the history of the building.

Here’s a preview of our brand new @forza_forni pizza oven to take us into Halloween Weekend! We’re beyond excited for the day we take delivery of this bad boy!

The original lunch counter at Patrick Henry’s predecessor Costello’s. A soup and a sandwich would’ve cost you 30 cents back in 1937. Adjusted for inflation, that would be $5.70 today (still a great deal if you ask us). #throwbackthursday

The north and west (front) sides of Patrick Henry’s sit in Coxsackie’s Historic District so new windows on those sides just won’t cut it. After years of sitting unused and collecting dust, the existing original windows are being painstakingly restored to their former beauty. Picture 3 shows Scott Purdy scraping and sanding a north side window to remove several coats of paint that have accumulated over the windows 100+ years of existence.

Before Patrick Henry’s was Patrick Henry’s it was Costello’s, pictured here in 1935 (just two short years after the end of Prohibition).
