Hey Families, Today is our tenth offering of "Virtual Camp". Today we are challenging you to a Photo challenge. Monday, August 3rd Challenge:... Take a picture of various items that begin with the letters in your name and make a collage. For instance: R- Rooster Y- Yarn A- Asparagus N- Noodles Campers can submit videos of themselves completing these challenges by sending them to [email protected]. Videos will be posted on the Peconic Dunes Facebook page with consent from participants and their guardians. Videos can be submitted throughout the week. Hey Families, Today is our ninth offering of "Virtual Camp". Today we are challenging you to a Dance challenge. Wednesday, July 29nd Challenge:... Channel your inner Tik Tok star as we challenge you to a Lip Sync and Dance Challenge! Pick your favorite song or clip of a song and create a dance while lip-syncing. This challenge can be done individually or grab some friends or family to complete your dance routine. Campers can submit videos of themselves completing these challenges by sending them to [email protected]. Videos will be posted on the Peconic Dunes Facebook page with consent from participants and their guardians. Videos can be submitted throughout the week. Wednesday, July 22nd Challenge: - Improv... - Do you want to be in your favorite movie/tv show? well, now you can! - Simply pick an iconic scene and act it out - BUT here's the twist - let's change the genre! what would harry potter look like as a comedy? or how about Scream as a musical? - pick a movie - think of the most iconic scene from that movie - roll your dice - change the genre to the corresponding one listed below - film and send the clip - have fun! 1. comedy 2. horror 3. musical 4. documentary 5. sci-fi 6. action Campers can submit videos of themselves completing these challenges by sending them to [email protected].
