As many of us can't get to Rockefeller Center to enjoy the holiday sparkle this year, we brought it to Peekskill. This 8-foot snowperson and friend once graced the Channel Gardens in 2016 and 2017. Originally produced by American Christmas of Mt. Vernon, NY, they have again come back to life and have been lovingly restored for our window display this year. We hope you walk by our little jewel and say hello. Happy Holidays and the very best for a healthy new year.

Here is a bit of history - 1930, a proud Peekskill Transfer and Storage Co. (now The Peekskill Brewery building) advertises their special handling with the move the printing press of the Evening Star to the 824 Main Street location. (thanks again Frank Goderre for dropping off some history!)

January 1931 - Grand Opening Ad for the new Peekskill Evening Star Building. Stern & Peyser Architects. The Hermax building on the Right is now the Eagle Saloon & The Hudson Room. 'Art Deco' architecture commonly used in that era. (thank you to Frank Goderre for the history!)

We just realized we never posted any photos of our new spring/summer windows. The snowmen's adventures continue!
