PERSEverance. We have missed you and we are delighted to announce that we will soon be welcoming you back to @perseny on October 15th for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Reopening means being part of the revitalization of our profession in New York and joining our culinary community to offer you a place to call home for an evening. It means surrounding you with comfort, providing you with memories and nourishing you in every sense of the word.... You will enjoy the striking views of Central Park and Columbus Circle in the main dining room where we have reconfigured the tables to account for social distancing and capacity restrictions in accordance with state guidelines. We are also offering privatized experiences with extended menus in both our East and West Rooms. Our Salon will be open for reservations only and upon availability. Dinner is offered Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Reservations can now be made for the month of October with reservation link in bio. We’re honored to support Citymeals.on.Wheels as part of their Summer Supper Series tonight at 6 pm ET. Our Pastry Chef Anna Bolz will be do a virtual cooking demo and show viewers how to make a dark chocolate and stone fruit semifreddo. Bartender Charles Hardwick will be mixing a Norte Chico cocktail using Caravedo Pisco. 100% of proceeds funds meals for homebound elderly New Yorkers who cannot shop or cook for themselves. "Never in the course of the past 26 years since opening The French Laundry and our sister restaurants and bakeries, did any of us think we would find ourselves in the state we are in. It’s been devastating to close our doors across the country and say goodbye to our daily routine and the camaraderie we experience with our teams and guests. A great meal is not just about the food and wine. It’s an opportunity to make emotional connections. Over the years, our ...staff has been dedicated to creating lasting memories for countless guests from our neighborhoods and around the world. They take pride in that effort, which lies at the essence of everything we do. But now my teams, comprising 1,200 employees, can no longer perform their roles. Furloughed across the country in New York, Florida, Nevada and California, they face the prospect of dire financial hardships. In response to these trying times, we have launched the KELLER RESTAURANT RELIEF FUND, a not-for-profit charitable organization aimed at helping employees who are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We need your help! Donations to this 501(c)(3) Fund will be tax deductible upon the final approval from the Internal Revenue Service, and will go toward grants that will cover the cost of housing, medical, child and adult care, and other basic necessities. With the temporary closure of our restaurants, I have heard from many of you expressing your care and concern and asking how you can help. As of this afternoon we've made the incredibly difficult decision of temporarily suspending operations at Per Se, for the health, welfare and safety of our team, guests and community. The seriousness and rapidly escalating situation has severely impacted Per Se and our restaurant community. Making this difficult and emotional decision is the only recourse we see to ensure the future of our restaurant. Throughout our closure, we will support our team by providing them with ...information and access to local, governmental and organizational resources as well as our Employee Assistance Program. When we do reopen, we will be honored and eager to welcome you back and our team will be waiting with open arms. There have been so many wonderful memories at this restaurant, and we look forward to making more with you soon. Special thanks to my Per Se team; Sam, Sandra, Corey, Anna and Michel for the thoughtful way in which they have navigated through these past weeks.
