Rotterdam Junction firefighters go to work at a barn fire at 650 River Road after multiple calls were received shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday. Some live stock, farm equipment, and an apple cider mill was lost in the blaze.

2 Alarm fire at Amigo's Auto Repair on State Street yesterday.

A wrong turn on ended badly with a car embedded into the front door of 235 Lisha Kill Rd in Colonie Wednesday. The driver sustained minor injuries and the cause was not known.

Fort Hunter firefighters battle a stubborn blaze in a vacant home at 109 Quackenbush Av. in the village Tuesday. The former residence of a hoarder, the fire load inside made it too dangerous for an interior attack. Multiple departments assisted with man power and tanker relays.

Lightning struck twice at 157 Elmer Av when a porch fire was discovered shortly after noon today at lower left. The house had an attic fire, above and lower right, on February 5 of this year. The house has been vacant since and a new roof was recently installed.

2 Alarm Fire at 1432 Dewitt Av in Mont Pleasant after a 3 car accident. Details are sketchy, all occupants of the house escaped safely and the driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene but was apprehended by SPD on Pennsylvania Av.
