Revina here, boy do I love my empty box but I also would love to fill it! I woud love some new toys, beds or anything to help my friends and I be more comfortable! - please see the list of things me and my friends are in need of! Any toys - pipe cleaners, toy mice, wand toys, pom poms, really anything fun! Cat window hammocks Cat condos... Tunnels non - clumping cat litter Gift cards Cat beds Cardboard scratching posts Cat Kuranda beds Bird houses - to add a little extra fun for the kitties to watch Is everyone left wondering about this beautiful baby? please read below to learn more about her...... Revina came to us with a group of her brothers and sisters needing some TLC. A local breeder had stopped breeding years ago but had kept some of his favorites around. Unfortunately it had come time to part ways. These kitties were in need of a little attention before they go up for adoption. Her nails had grown into her pads, she was matted and needed to put on a couple pounds (who doesn’t love to hear that!). Look at her now! keep checking back to see what she is up to next here at the shelter! Revina and her friends will be ready for adoption soon!!

You may remember STELLA who came to Pet Pride a few months ago with a ruptured eye and her four 4-week old kittens in tow. She has now completely recovered from her eye surgery and all of her babies have gone to their new homes. Now it’s Stella's turn and she is so deserving of a forever home of her own. She is a 3 year-old one-eyed beauty who is spayed, vaccinated and combo-tested. Stella is very social, loves getting pets and makes the cutest chirping noises.. If you are interested in adopting Stella, please complete our online application. https://www.petprideny.org/adopt/adoption_process/

Lucinda and Leia found each other at Pet Pride Foster Care. Lucinda was brought to us by a kind soul who found her outside her motel room with a ruptured eye. Leia had all the odds against her of ever finding a home, having been born in a feral colony but trusted one of our volunteers who took her in. Together they sought comfort in each other and formed an unbreakable bond. Fast forward.. Lucinda had her eye surgery and Leia took care of her in recovery. We are just thrilled to report that the girls were adopted out together!! Thank you Heather O’ Brien for giving Lucinda, now Cocoa and Leia, now Luna the best forever home ever!!

We really hate to make this announcement. Our indomitable sanctuary supervisor, Heather MacNeal, is leaving us and moving on. Heather has been responsible for saving feline lives, shattering adoption records, making perfect cat-human love matches, and just generally working miracles on a daily basis. If you’re an adopter, fosterer, volunteer, colleague, or veterinary professional who has had the pleasure of interacting with our Heather, you’ll understand how sad we are to see her go. We invite you to leave a farewell message below.

If you’ve been following VICTORY and her garden of Veggies (LETTUCE, KALE, RADISH, and CARROT), you’ll be interested to know that she also produced a flower garden of kittens earlier in the year, prior to coming into Pet Pride’s care. (VICTORY has been spayed since she’s been with us, so no more kittens for her.) ROSIE and POSIE are the slightly older siblings of the Veggies. Although they take a little time getting to know people, they have blossomed (get it?) in foster care. ROSIE and POSIE are affectionate and playful, and they get along well with other cats. If you’re looking to adopt two kittens for twice the love and twice the fun, these bonded sisters are the perfect pair! ROSIE and POSIE are six months old, fully vaccinated, and due to be spayed prior to adoption. https://www.petprideny.org/adopt/adoption_process/

JINGLE is an ardent explorer who likes to be wherever the action is. He seeks out high perches from which to survey his surroundings. BINGO loves to snuggle, but beware of sneak attacks on your toes! She’s still a kitten, after all. BULLSEYE is the fearless leader of the gang and a bundle of energy who’ll climb anything. Her favorite perch is her foster mom’s shoulder.... NEB Jr. is a quiet guy who enjoys long petting sessions and hanging out with his foster family’s dog. BUFFBALL is an athlete who enjoys wrestling with her siblings and chasing strings and bells. BLACKTUNE will follow you anywhere and then plop himself down on your lap. DIAMOND is the proud mama cat of these beautiful kittens. Although she’s a bit wary of other animals, this affectionate girl just loves her human friends! Apply to adopt DIAMOND or one of her kittens by completing our online adoption application: https://www.petprideny.org/adopt/adoption_process/

There's no place like home, and OZ finally found his! His adopter visited our sanctuary four times to get to know him, and each time she came, our handsome senior boy ran right over to her. Also adopted in the last few days were SLOANE, COCONUT, and CASHEW. Happy Adoption Day to all!

Adoptable Veggie-of-the-Day: RADISH is full of love for everyone. He is a chatty boy and a purring machine, and he wants to be close to his people. If his foster mom talks to him when he's across the room, RADISH runs to her at full speed in order to be held. He likes to sit on her shoulder and collect kisses! https://www.petprideny.org/adopt/adoption_process/

Adoptable Veggie-of-the-Day: LETTUCE is an independent and curious girl. She is very sweet, but after she checks in with the humans, she's off on an adventure. She enjoys playing with her people and her siblings but is equally content when entertaining herself. https://www.petprideny.org/adopt/adoption_process/

Pet Pride of New York 01.06.2020

Adoptable Veggie-of-the-Day: KALE is an easygoing boy who is happy doing just about anything. He loves his siblings, his foster people, and even the dogs who reside in his foster home. When the dogs are outside, KALE waits at the door for them to come back in. https://www.petprideny.org/adopt/adoption_process/

CARROT is today’s Veggie of the Day! This little guy gives everything 100 percent. He plays hard, then relaxes with equal intensity. CARROT loves to eat and is as enthusiastic about food as he is about everything else in life. He has a peculiar affinity for mashed potatoes and, although he’s never tasted them, he’ll climb up his foster mom’s leg and into her arms whenever she’s preparing them. CARROT enjoys interacting with people and likes to be held, and he’s especially snuggly when he’s sleepy. If you’re interested in adopting CARROT, please complete our online application: https://www.petprideny.org/adopt/adoption_process/
