Hey we have a bunch of mismatched dishes at the shop and a lot of old flip and keyboard type phones at my house. Anyone know of someone or some program that could repurpose them?

We've got some seriously adorable dish sets, and...suprise...our pants and children's clothing now have their sizes taped to them! A big thanks to @surazalnorahs for going through the many many pants and making things more accessible! #reallyreallyfreemarket #supportsmallbusiness #makersspace #hunterny #tannersvilleny #thrifty #thriftny #catskills #grassroots #mutualaid

This Monday, January 18th, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for the first time since this summer's racial justice uprisingthe largest since the civil rights... movement. We need your support to continue our Black-led local movement for housing and racial justice. If you are planning to invest or save your stimulus money to further increase your personal wealth, please consider donating that money instead to support Hudson/Catskill Housing Coalition's programming. Currently, we are meeting the increased demand of our Tenant Rights Hotline, which provides invaluable information and resources to empower tenants to defend themselves and organize together against illegal evictions, unsafe living conditions, landlord harassment, retaliation, and more, all of which are intensifying during this COVID-19 housing crisis. Your support would also back our leadership as we speak truth to power about defunding the inflated local police budget to refund housing, education, and social servicesservices that decriminalize poverty, homelessness, addiction, and mental illness, and truly keep our communities safe. By giving what you can today you would additionally contribute to our campaign to end racist housing policies that keep people who have experienced incarceration out of public and low-income housing, perpetuating a cycle of oppression that prohibits individuals attempting to re-enter into society from returning to their communities, and instead leaves them with nowhere to go. Reparations are a call for the divestment from the institutions that criminalize, cage, and harm Black people; and investment in the education, health, and safety of Black people. They also call for the transfer of inherited wealth that is tied to the past and continuing violence of racial capitalism from white people to Black communities. While Black organizers and organizations are calling for official reparations legislation, individual allies and co-conspirators committed to Black liberation are taking tangible action by giving directly to Black organizers and organizations who are integral to this movement. You can join them by donating to HCHC: https://buff.ly/35PHJy1
