Things change Brooklyn... Days grow longer, friends move, love leaves. But, we are better for it. We have to be. For "the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to bloom." Or so Anais Nin reminds us. That said, our grilled cheese has transformed itself. Now spotlighting heirloom tomatoes and NYC deli pickles. Mmm, heart is happy.

She reminds me that if it's not full of puppies packages should be full of mushrooms. Agreed. I mean there's not mush-room in this box. Thanks R.L. Irwin farm from PA for dropping off some of your local finds. Dreamy.

When life gives you lemons ... squeeze them over broccoli rabe. Not only does Vitamin C helps in the body's processing of Iron, but citrus fruits and super delicious. All the more of a reminder that the sunny days are almost here.

It's finally Spring Brooklyn! And we're feeling (& looking might I add) mighty fine. Shake off those Winter blues and come grab some curry coconut chickpea and squash soup topped with cashew cream and cilantro. Hmm ... heart is happy. Come be my chickpea :)
