Pine street car wash

After over 30 years in business 15 for me and 15 my uncle, it’s time to move on because it just isn’t feasible to open back up with increasing water and sewer bills and loosing prime carwash season for the third year in a row. 2 years of road construction and this year Covid-19. All that said I have decided to sell my equipment from the building and then possibly sell the building after or do something different with it. I paid $150,000 in equipment upgrades in 2011-2012. All equipment will be sold together as is if anyone knows someone looking to start a carwash PM me.

Well once again we are taking another jab from the village!! It was brought to my attention that the water rates were going up in June. I called the village hall today to verify. This is what I was told! Water is down sewer is up for the 10,000 gallons we are allowed. Doing the math I’m seeing your minimum charge going from $110. To $149.75 god forbid you go over tour allowed usage that rate will be. WATER Old $1.28 per thousand New $4.06 per thousand ... SEWER Old $1.47 per thousand New $6.47 per thousand Just confirms to me that the current board does not want any water using company to survive in this community! This is not just your carwash it’s your hair dresser! Your restaurant! Garages! Any business is going to use water. I am personally going to do something different with my building on pine street my water and power are shut off and my business is down due to Covid-19 and why don’t you just kick us all while we are down!!! If I lived and had a vote in this village I say clean house!!!! Just my thought please feel free to share the hell out of this post!! I’m sorry if I left any water users out like maybe Cleveland Brother Landscaping trying to keep their fleet of equipment clean supporting your community. God bless you all!! Good evening valued customers! As of tonight I am forced to close the carwash down until further notice. I’m hoping to take this time to make some business decisions and repairs that are necessary. Please be patient with all your local businesses during these trying times. Support all the local businesses that remain open. Order out from your favorite restaurants, shop at your favorite grocery store and remember stay in your homes as much as possible so we can overcome this nasty virus. Together I hope we all come out of this as better people with a whole new appreciation for all we have in our everyday lives!! Thank you for your business and support!!

The carwash is FOR SALE a lot of potential for building on the carwash business or a garage for a repair shop. The possibilities are endless. I am way to busy for all the things I have going on and I feel a new owner could grow this place into a nice business. I’m not leaving town and would work with potential buyer to grow the business.
