I’ve been back to work for a week, and posting hair pictures just didn’t feel right with the state of things in the world. With that being said, I think it’s part of my soul to share these pictures with you because it’s a glimpse of beauty, normalcy and light that I think we could all use. All of these really difficult, saddening and scary conversations we’re having are forcing necessary changes to be made, and putting us in uncomfortable positions so we can grow. Hi, everyone! I just wanted to make a PSA since we are starting to receive a lot of messages about booking appointments post COVID! We don’t have a reopen date since guidelines still aren’t officially laid out for salons in our county, but will be reaching out to our current clients around 6/1 to reschedule what had to be cancelled, in order, beginning with 3/17. Unfortunately, we are unable to take any NEW clients for the foreseeable future. Just to be clear, this is not s...omeone who comes once or twice a year; this applies to clients we have never seen before. We have 10+ weeks of existing clients to reschedule, and guidelines limit how many clients per day we can take. We will make an announcement when we are able to start taking new clients, but it will most likely be some time in the fall/winter, with priority given to full vivid projects. Unfortunately, we also really can’t make recommendations for other stylists at this time as we are ALL in this very unprecedented boat, so patience is going to be your friend here. I apologize that we aren’t able to accommodate everyone right away, and we hope to see you down the road!

Last year, I embarked on a new project, something no one seemed to be offering, and I opened up @creativecollectiveschdy Private Artist Studios. It was an endeavor to bring together artists of any medium, who needed a space to escape, be inspired, have their privacy and opportunity for client intimacy, while still having a strong support system available. This is an intimidating time to branch out on your own, but private studio spaces give you the freedom and control of bein...g your own business owner, while still having the protection of someone else remembering to pay the electric bill! It will especially be able to give you the control of keeping your clients safe and protected in a sanitary space, so you don’t have to worry about social distancing from others in your studio! The space is currently a finished, blank slate, ready for your paint, your decor, your lighting, your music, your inspiration! Room is available ASAP and all creative mediums welcome!
