114 years ago today, Andrew Alexander Kroeg, Lawrence Harry Mixson, and Simon Fogarty held the first Pi Kappa Phi meeting. We have come a long way since that historic moment, and we look forward to continuing to grow our brotherhood and spread our values. From all of us at Alpha Tau, Happy Founders’ Day!
Please help us in congratulating @curran_76 as our 2018 Brother of the Year! We would like to recognize his consistent commitment to bettering our chapter and his unwavering support provided in bringing our brothers closer together
We’d like to thank all the parents and families that came out to visit this weekend. Thank you for your constant support in the Rensselaer community and for our brothers.
Come support your favorite 90s TV show, the Fresh Prince of Renssel-Air, this week during Greek Week. There’s a lot of awesome things happening so make sure to stop by the union patio the next couple days for food and fun activities.
Ever since I joined Pi Kappa Phi, my life has changed for the better. I found a group of brothers that have shown commitment to becoming better leaders and men. Without them I wouldn’t be the man I am today. - @carkus_below #myfraternity #uncommonopportunities #ODH
We would like to thank the sisters of @rpialphaphi for having such an amazing time with us making dog treats for a local animal shelter!
Come support RPI Greek Life and learn about the Impact Greek Life has on our community, today from 4-7 PM behind Commons Dining Hall!

Spread the Word to End the Word is an ongoing effort by Special Olympics, Best Buddies International, and our supporters to inspire respect and acceptance through raising the consciousness of society about the R-word and how hurtful words and disrespect can be toward people with intellectual disabilities. The campaign, created by youth, is intended to engage schools, organizations and communities to rally and pledge their support at www.r-word.org and to promote the inclusio...n and acceptance of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The annual day of awareness is held the first Wednesday of every March. While most activities are centered on or near that annual day in March, people everywhere can help spread the word throughout their communities and schools year-round thru pledge drives, youth rallies, and online activation. Respectful and inclusive language is essential to the movement for the dignity and humanity of people with intellectual disabilities. However, much of society does not recognize the hurtful, dehumanizing and exclusive effects of the R-word. Language affects attitudes. Attitudes impact actions. Make your pledge for #Respect today at www.r-word.org. -- Spread the Word to End the Word was founded by college students Soeren Palumbo (Notre Dame 2011) and Tim Shriver (Yale 2011) in 2009, and continues to be led by passionate young people, along with Special Olympics athletes and Best Buddies participants across the United States and in many other parts of the world.
