It is that time of year. Road racing is coming to a close with a few big races left on the calendar but within 30 days we will be staring October right in the face. So, when does 2020 start? For the road cyclist that wants 2020 to be their best the 2020 season is actually about to begin! That's right, begin. Read this article and look closely at the phases within a year of training. Transition is just about to begin. I will publish an article specifically about the Transition Period next week. I hope you like this general overview of what a periodized training year might look like.

We would like to congratulate Plan2Peak athlete Santiago Pelaez Cuellar on a major achievement of winning the Elite NJ State Road Race Championship. Santiago is having a banner season already upgrading from a Cat 3 to Cat 2 and is only a few more points away from his Cat 1 upgrade. This championship was an A priority for Santiago. We are proud to work with you!
