Interested in joining a fraternity? It’s rush season!! The Sigma Tau Gamma is excited to announce our Spring 2022 rush schedule! If you are at all interested in Greek Life, rushing Sig Tau or just want to meet some of the brothers, pop out to the rush events and the brothers will answer any questions you may have! #MeetaNewMember! Jaiden Varmette is a freshman Childhood Education/Special Education with a concentration in STEM who wants to become a pre-K teacher. Fun facts about Jaiden are that she is in the Honors Program and that she is a lifeguard in the summer. She joined Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity because of the older sisters she met and says that they really showed her what it is to be friends and to have fun and enjoy college. Jaiden says the organization has already helped her learned so much about herself and how to handle multiple responsibilities. She's learned that there are so many people out there that you are just waiting to meet and become best friends.

#MeetaNewMember! Keisha Roman is a junior studying Criminal Justice from Bronx, NY. After graduating, she wants to make a change in the criminal justice system. A fun fact about Keisha is that she was the last baby born on December 31, 1999 in Puerto Rico. Keisha recently joined Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Latinas Poderosas Unidas, Inc. because she instantly felt so welcomed and the connections felt so natural. She also connects well with the philanthropy and goals of the organization. Through joining this organization, she has learned patience and to enjoy everything even if you may think it’s negative in the moment.

#MeetaNewMember! Savanna Barse is a junior studying T.V. Video productions and Audio Radio productions from Morristown, NY. After graduating, she wants to be able to help create meaningful documentaries. A fun fact about Savanna is that she loves the paint. Savanna recently joined Theta Alpha Lambda Sorority because she wants to help the community in anyway that she can. Through joining this organization, she has gained so much confidence within herself as well as so many new amazing friends.

#MeetaNewMember! Sara Faruqi is a sophomore studying Fine Arts with a Concentration in Photography from Plattsburgh, NY. After graduating, she wants to open her own tattoo studio and art gallery. A fun fact about Sara is that she been to the Louvre. Sara recently joined Alpha Phi Fraternity because she wanted push herself to do something new and to be part of an organization that shares the same values as herself. Through joining this organization, she has gained some pretty amazing people in my life.

#MeetaNewMember! Morgan Keable is a sophomore studying Communication Sciences & Disorders from Plattsburgh, NY. After graduating, she wants to become a Speech Language Pathologist in a preschool. A fun fact about Morgan is that she was a swimmer in high school. Morgan recently joined Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity because she wanted to form bonds with amazing people and make life-long friends that she can rely on. Through joining this organization, she has learned to always be herself and that she didn’t need to change who she was as a person.

#MeetaNewMember! Mohamed Farhat is a sophomore studying Economics & Finance from Lusaka, Zambia. After graduating, he wants to find a career in the field he is studying. A fun fact about Mohamed is that he is a legacy to Alpha Sigma Phi through his older brother. Mohamed recently joined Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity because the guys were very welcoming to him since his first day in Plattsburgh and he developed really good relationships with most of the brothers in the fraternity. Through joining this organization, he has learned that it's possible to better the world through better men.

#MeetaNewMember! Kassandra McGough is a sophomore studying Early Childhood Education/Special Ed from Mahopac, NY. After graduating, she wants to open her own school for students with disabilities. A fun fact about Kassandra is that she Traveled to five different countries. Kassandra recently joined Theta Alpha Lambda Sorority because she instantly felt welcomed and really loved their philanthropy. Through joining this organization, she has gained lifelong friendships and confidence.

#MeetaNewMember! Molly Bowen is a freshman studying Childhood Special Education from Cooperstown, NY. After graduating, she wants to become a first grade teacher and teach and led the next generation of students. A fun fact about Molly is that she is a triplet. Molly recently joined Sigma Delta Tau Sorority because she wanted to join something bigger than herself and to step outside her comfort zone, while getting the chance to meet new friends. Through joining this organization, she has gained so many amazing friendships.
