Ironwood Golf Course

Oh yay. Another 1/2" of rain. Carts will not be let out again for some time. Looking back to last year - between May 15th when we were able to open and June 1st, carts were on the course only TWO days. So, I guess it's 'normal'? lol Have patience. We'll get there!

We are in a holding pattern. No carts. The forecast is not helping any. Cold weather does not dry it out at all. And no, we don't know when we will be able to let them out. Ask Mother Nature :)

Are you getting the golf itch yet??? Shooting for April 19th :) POSSIBLY sooner if the weather permits, and we get things ready to roll before then! Stay tuned..........

Just to update anyone who had a tee time this week...we will still be here in the mornings through Friday BUT we are not letting carts out any more. It's just too wet. Thank you for understanding!

Not exactly what we had in mind for our final week of the season, but Mother Nature rules :) This Friday, the 30th, will be our last day open for 2020. Thank you again for everyone who came out and played this year.

As we wind down the season, we want to thank everyone who made this a year to remember. It was interesting to say the least! We will be open, weather permitting, until Friday October 30th. If the weather is iffy, and you have a tee time, please call to make sure we are open. Thank you again for playing :)

Just a reminder...PLEASE don't message facebook or email the course asking for tee times! This is done by phone only. 585-805-0350. The tee book is nowhere near the computer, and Facebook is not used very often except to post an update. Thank you for understanding!

The days are definitely changing, and getting shorter. I'm sure we'll have a few spectacular October moments! Give us a call for that final round of the season as we will be closing by the end of the month. And as always, if the day is 'iffy' where the weather is concerned, PLEASE call first!! We may not be open on the bad weather days! Thanks for playing!

September. Cooler weather :) Just a reminder to those who live near the lake...we are not as warm this time of year. Don't forget that jacket!!

And the days are getting shorter FAST!!! We're losing daylight at warp speed lol. Morning tee times are much later, and the afternoon gets earlier. Now if we could just get people to understand that it's not because we don't want you to play, it's that thing caused by the tilt of the earth as it rotates around the sun and the changing of the seasons :)

August...already! The days are definitely getting shorter. All you early birds need to keep this in mind lol. Sun isn't rising until 6:10, this week. And it's setting earlier too. We're losing at the least 10 minutes of daylight per week at night. So yes, that final tee time is getting earlier. Most leagues will still be going until the final week of August. There are also a few that will go into September to make up for time lost in May. As always, THANKS FOR PLAYING!!!

This weather...!!! Warm and dry makes for great golf! We are thankful for the rain we got though. Looking a bit more green out there again :) Thank you to everyone visiting us this summer!

Phase 3. Things are beginning to look normal We can relax a little in our social circles and enjoy each other's company again. Be smart and let's keep each other healthy.

Well, that was one terrific light show last night! Fortunately, most of the rain missed us :) We are good to go!!

We made it to Phase 2! Let's keep the healthy moving! Masks are still required if within 6' of anyone. Wash or sanitize your hands often. Also, a reminder that you do need a tee time for play. Do not show up any earlier that 15 - 20 minutes prior. A mask is REQUIRED for check in. AND - please don't leave a message asking for a tee time and a call back. You won't get one. Call again in the morning to get a real live person! Thanks :)

For anyone having a tee time for the next couple days, PLEASE call the course if carts may be a make or break for you. We are not able to let them out at this time as we are horrid wet...AGAIN. Also, for anyone wanting a tee time, don't message us here. FB doesn't get checked very often Thanks!!
