Polar Bear Swim For Charity

Due to the ongoing closures, crowd control measures and spikes in Covid-19, the Polar Bear Swim Committee has decided to postpone the 20th Anniversary swim until January 9, 2022. Please message us for a 2022 pledge sheet. It is never too early to begin collecting! If you have anyone that would like to donate prior to the 2022 swim, we can accept donations at PO Box 6 - Silver Creek, NY 14136-0006. Checks should be made payable to any or all of the following charities - Chi...ldren's Hospital Foundation, Silver Creek Fire Dept., Silver Creek Rescue Squad, Sunset Bay Fire Department or Silver Creek Food Pantry. Please make a notation that it was from the Polar Bear Swim. A date has not been confirmed for the 2021 Chicken Swim (the summer alternative fundraiser). As soon as we lock that in, we will send you information. We will miss everyone in January but look forward to a successful future swim. Thank you for all of your continued support. - Judi and Pam

A big Thank you to all who helped out with the Polar Bear Swim for Charity. We raised over $12,000 for Oishei Children's Hospital, the Silver Creek Fire Dept., Silver Creek Rescue Squad, Sunset Bay Fire Dept. and Silver Creek Food Pantry.

Silver Creek Polar Bear Swim is still on tap for this afternoon. If the winds continue we will go to plan A, B or C!! Not sure if we will be jumping in the Lake but we will make sure everyone is safe no matter what!! Plunge scheduled for 1pm sharp! There are plenty of indoor non-swimming events to make this a fun day. Thank you for any help you can give to let people know to still come out and support Children's Hospital and the other worthwhile charities! Thank you for spreading the word
