BorderLine Studio Music club

I recorded an album that I’m really excited about and I want to share it with everyone. Most of these tunes are new compositions. A few are reworked songs that ...I’ve had for years. I’ve been playing in bands most of my life and composing and recording solo tunes for decades, though I’ve never released them to the public. This music was recorded entirely in a small room with a fantastic view. I think the contrast between confinement and expansiveness is apparent. At times it was a titanic struggle and I thought about calling it The Eight Songs that Nearly Killed Me but I settled on a simpler title. I want to thank my wife, Joyce, for her patience in allowing me to lock myself up in my studio for days at a time. She also had to hear me singing and sometimes screaming into my microphone with my headphones on in our Bronx apartment. I guess I should thank my neighbors for not calling the cops. I’ve been told that these songs get better with repeated listening so give them a chance, I think you’ll dig it. The album is called Spectral Works by Stephen O’Rourke.
