Must be December to be this cold. We are towing in the last broken down sailboat from its mooring into the Marina. Jeremy is back in the office warming up by the fireplace. Can't wait to be back in the USVI sailing.

We are expanding our fleet to include Laser sailboats for our Junior program and new Adult Dinghy program. These boats have been actively raced worldwide and in the Olympics. Our boats are to be rigged as 4.7. This is a small sail well suited for kids 12-14 moving up from our Opti or Open Bic. Adults will find the boat easy to sail as well. We are replacing and adding fleet to the Junior Sailing program. This 14 ft. Carolina Skiff is a stable platform for our instructors to aid capsized dinghies. In addition we added more Optimists and a Laser sailboat. Enroll your child now in this program and save. Program starts end of June see website for dates.

The yard crew and Kevin of Port Sailing are placing the slings to launch the S/V Marissa at St Croix Marina.

Our sailing season isn't over yet. Kevin has been busy in St Croix getting our 43 foot yacht back in the water. The mast is back up, bottom painted, and zincs installed. We start are winter classes in January out of St Thomas in the USVI.

All our boats in New Rochelle are out of the water and now the work begins. Lined up here are the three Launches. Jeremy has hoisted out the motor on the small Launch in preparation for repairing the engine bed.

Pirates transferred Echo Island back to the Crown today. Thank you Captain Rosey. Lisa and Gordon for your part today. A wonderful season for our Junior sailing program at Echo Bay Yacht Club. Pirates return next season to open their treasure.

A pirate flag is still flying over Echo Island. Negotiations are underway to return the Island back to her majesty kingdom of King George. Transfer will take place on Friday noon, when the little pirates free the Island until next year. Commador Bill may have to walk the plank!
