Potsdam K-Kids

It is an honor to dedicate these Bricks for our Brothers in memory of PFC Donald Stanton and PFC Ronald Tiernan in the Potsdam Ives Park Veterans Memorial! We owe them a debt of gratitude. We are thankful for this opportunity to honor them and their loved ones.

The K-Kids of Potsdam donated $1,200 to support the creation of a calming room at Lawrence Avenue Elementary School. What is calming room you ask? A small classroom equipped with soft furnishings and soothing materials to help a student de-escalate when upset. Calming rooms are also used proactively to help students who need scheduled breaks to be able to focus and attend better.
