Great news from POK's newest fresh food resource!

Everyone should "regardless of income, have access to fresh, healthy food, and the support they need" - thank you Dutchess Outreach for all you do for our community!

As our great friends at Dutchess Outreach point out, over 20 years of research has shown that access to affordable, healthy food is a significant challenge among low-income communities, like the City of Poughkeepsie, and that this lack of access is directly associated with increased rates of obesity and other diet-related diseases. We're proud of the access to healthy, farm fresh foods our Poughkeepsie Plenty Fresh Market provides all City of Poughkeepsie residents. Stay tuned for the most up to date schedule for this season!
