Hey kids! You *WON'T* want to miss church this Sunday! Join us in the Common Room 10 a.m. where we will learn all about Jesus being the LIGHT of the world. Then right after church at 11 a.m., we will have a CANDY HUNT on the playground! Dress warm, wear a costume if you choose, and come have some fun with us at Pound Ridge Community Church! Hello! Pound Ridge Community Church kids had fun last week blowing bubbles after learning all about how God wants us to be his reflection on others and show love and kindness with all we meet. Won't you come join us this Sunday at 10 a.m.? We are following strict state COVID safety guidelines and keeping kids safe during Sunday School by providing separate supplies, blue X marks and carpet squares on the floor for social distancing, windows open for ventilation (so dress warm!) and we also have a professional cleaning crew come in to disinfect all surfaces each week. It's time for Operation Christmas Child 2020! The COVID-19 global pandemic has disrupted everyday life for millions of people around the world. Yet, Samaritan's Purse continues to share the eternal hope of the Gospel and to serve in Jesus' Name. Every year, millions of children around the world have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and experience the joy of Christmas through our shoebox gifts. Last year, the boxes that we packed went to children in Honduras. This year we'...d love to continue our efforts to help the children where they are! Please see the instructions below and feel free to email [email protected] if you have any questions. We have ordered 100 shoeboxes for this year's gifts and here is how you can help: 1. Contribute money on the church website, or by check, so that we can shop for gifts, personal hygiene items for children in impoverished countries on your behalf. Make a check payable to the church with OCC in the memo line. 2. Mark your calendar for the outdoor box folding party: Sunday, November 8th at 11 a.m. after church. 3. Mark your calendar for the packing party: Sunday, November 15th, outside, immediately after the Service. 4. Donate for the mailing of one or more boxes: $9 per box helps defray the cost. We plan on sending 100 boxes and will need approximately $900 for postage. Every shoebox we send enables us to reach one more child with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your generosity in prior years. Let's make this a very successful global mission for our Church. Thank you!

PRCC Kids had a great time today decorating pumpkins for the seniors at A-Home in Pound Ridge! Thanks to Lynn Jacobsen for donating these great gourds!

Last Sunday, PRCC kids learned how God provided water from a rock for the Israelites when they were so thirsty in the desert. Students got to color their own Flat Moses stick figures and retell the story using items they gathered on an online scavenger hunt!
