If you have been to Halle Ravine lately you may have noticed a few changes. Thank you to our volunteer Halle Vernon for helping us build a new bridge! And a beaver has moved into the ponds and is causing flooding so a bog bridge has been temporarily placed on a flooded trail section. There are also metal mesh wraps around many trees to protect them from the beaver. We will be installing a beaver baffle into the dam and completing more improvement projects at Halle Ravine soon!

If you don't look too closely, this could be Halle Ravine. But the real thing is better! If you need a break from everything going on, go step outside and breathe some fresh air at one of PRLC's preserves today. experienhttps://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/10/30/style/election-stress-relief.html#forest-trail

We had a very successful summer with our three interns! They shared their summer work and projects via a Zoom meeting with PRLC's Board of Directors, funders and others including Jackie Roman from the Record Review. Check out Jackie's recent article about the interns for more details. Thank you Andrew Miller, Jacob Adams, and Catherine Janszky for all your hard work and enthusiasm!
