Ability Hacker Friends! I have been waiting for this - Billy shoes now come in a WDR variety (wider, deeper, more resilient) - specifically adapted to better fi...t over AFOs!! Colors are limited, but I see gray, pink & black - and they appear to start at size 5 Toddler and go up to size 6 Big Kid. Eek! Also - FYI - they are having a Thanksgiving SALE (50% off the email said) from Nov 19-23rd - so if you'd like these, mark your calendars. <> We have been using the standard version of the Billy shoes for our daughter, and found that the cloth high-top ones worked OK as long as we completely re-laced to loosen them. However, the fit wasn't ideal (still a bit snug in the toe box). I heard that Billy was working on this version a couple years ago, and am SO EXCITED today to see them finally available. Someone is getting a new pair of kicks for Christmas! By the way - the zipper around the front helps so much re: getting them on and off. My son (typically developing) loves his Billy shoes too.
