Damn it feels good to be a gangster.

Get it done or get it done right? I've been thinking about this a lot the last day or two. I just dropped a huge quote for a job. 5 figures.... Will I get the job, who knows. I know there's multiple quotes being accepted. I can tell you I'm on the high side, most likely the highest quote. "You get what you pay for" fits like a glove in this industry. I have to make time in my schedule now for this job. Get it done in a timely manner. And still attend to my regular client base. It's not going to be easy and it'll be time consuming. The downside to doing it right. When you see something of high dollar, do you run in the opposite direction for the cheapest one knowing you could get it for half that price? Or do you stop and question, why is this one more expensive? Do you see the value, experience, and knowledge being offered? Or do you just see what's on the surface? Your response to price is an emotional one. And I'm sure I'll get one when they see my quote. My hope is that with my attached explanation, they see that's there's more than just what results they're expecting on the surface.
