By going the extra mile to share your story and what this sale would mean to you can leave a positive and lasting impression. 4 Put down a strong earnest money deposit. In a seller’s market, there can be a lot of competition to fight off. That’s why it’s best to start with a strong earnest money deposit to show that you’re a serious candidate.
