Here are some "Boredom Busters" to do with with your children as we all are spending more time at home. Miss Mary use scrabble tiles to practice spelling words spray whipped cream on a tray and practice printing letters with your finger... play dress-up and put on a play make up your own song lay in a dark room with flashlights and make up a story draw pictures and have someone guess what you are drawing hide a toy/treat and play hot or cold to help someone find it line up a few chairs and take a 'train' ride around the country or a 'plane' ride around the world tape low stick tape on the floor in a straight/zigzag/curved line and practice balancing on it or blow pom poms along it put snow in a large baking pan and colored water in mini cups so kids can paint the snow find an online card website and email cards to family and friends decorate a plain shirt with fabric markers or by sewing buttons or patches on them grab a purse full of pennies, line up fake food, and grocery boxes and play store tape strips of construction paper 'roads' together and play cars draw a picture with a crayon and then water paint over the paper to create a crayon resist picture start a journal and write about all the things you do and want to do tape cups to the other side of the table and use straws to blow pom poms across in a race glue Popsicle sticks together in a snowflake shape and hang ornaments in the window print out or draw a 'mask' and act out the character or animal make snowflakes out of coffee filters See more
