WEEKLY ART PROMPT: Marshmallow Sculptures marshmallows (whatever size you have!) toothpicks or uncooked spaghetti dark paper... I love an easy but dynamic art project, especially after the week we all just had. Set it up, maybe join in with your kid to build your own sculpture and let everyone sample the art supplies afterwards, followed by an immediate trip to your local playground :) 1. Lay out the marshmallows and toothpicks on a sheet of dark paper. 2. You can start a sculptures on your own, as this will usually entice your kid with out too much effort. 3. Encourage them to build a free standing sculpture, followed by a snowflake or two.

WEEKLY ART PROMPT: Bathtub Paintings washable tempera paint dish or palette for paint thick paper, cardstock or cardboard masking tape... paint brush 1. Tape up the painting surface to the wall of your bathtub or shower. 2. Squeeze paint in a dish or palette, arrange with a paint brush. 3. Let your kid climb in and start painting! 4. Bonus points if your kid has a bath right after! Simply remove their paintings and let them dry flat in a separate room. Artist tip - stick to one color or a max of 2 to avoid everything mixing to a grayish brown.
