The year 2020 has been an unprecedented one to say the very least. We've all faced some pretty difficult challenges and our ways of life have forever been changed as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although many of us are excited to leave this year behind us, there is no denying that we've all adapted in ways that we never thought possible. We've learned how resilient we truly are, how communities can come together in a time of need, and many of us have a greate...r appreciation for friends and family. Whatever your journey has been this year, we at Professional Care Physical Therapy and ProCare Occupational Therapy are grateful to have been part of it. The trust that you have instilled in us to keep you safe during your rehabilitation amongst these challenging times means so much to us. Tomorrow begins a brand new year, a new chapter, and the hope that there are better things to come. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. We couldn't agree more. As this year draws to a close, and we reflect upon our own experience with the COVID-19 pandemic, we'd like to take a moment to thank our friend Benny of Benny Migs Photo for allowing us to participate in something so meaningful and historical. A project close to Benny's heart that highlights the many businesses and community members throughout the Village of Patchogue that were affected this year. When ...we look at the pages of this book, the expressions on each face (although covered with a mask), speak volumes.
