Ronald W. Centola, P.E. Joins Prudent Engineering’s as Sr. Project Engineer/LDSA Services Manager Prudent Engineering LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Ronald W. Centola, P.E. to the firm’s Design Department as Sr. Project Engineering/LDSA Services Manager. Most recently, Mr. Centola worked for Ravi Engineering and Land Surveying as Manager of the Transportation Department.... His extensive background in highway/bridge engineering will supplement the existing engineering design staff by providing experience in the design and management of highway and bridge design projects. Mr. Centola earned his BS Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from University of Buffalo and holds professional engineering licenses in multiple states.

Prudent Engineering's Civil/Site Design Department Adds Christopher Lama PE to Staff Prudent Engineering LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Christopher M. Lama, P.E. to the firm’s Design Department as Sr. Project Engineer. Most recently, Mr. Lama worked for Wendel Companies in Western New York as Senior Transportation Engineer. His background in highway engineering will supplement the existing engineering staff by providing experience in the design and management of h...ighway and interdisciplinary design projects. Mr. Lama earned his BS Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from SUNY IT in Utica, New York.

Frederick Burgwardt, P.E. Joins Prudent Engineering’s Civil/Site Design Department (EAST SYRACUSE, NEW YORK) - Prudent Engineering LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Frederick P. Burgwardt, P.E. to the firm’s Design Department. Mr. Burgwardt has spent the majority of his career working for the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), most recently as the Bridge Design Squad Leader. As Senior Project Engineer, he will provide mentoring, guidance and direction to an in-house team of engineers. Mr. Burgwardt earned his BS Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University.

Prudent Engineering on Team Awarded the NYSDOT Region 7 Construction Inspection Services Term Agreement (EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y.) Prudent Engineering LLP, as subconsultant to Barton and Loguidice DPC, is on the team awarded the Construction Inspection Services term agreement in Region 7 of the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). The contract focuses on highway and bridge projects in Region 7 which includes Lewis, Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Franklin, and Clinton ...counties. Construction Inspection Services Manager Beverly Strachan will manage the Prudent Engineering inspection staff assigned to various tasks generated by the agreement. The multi-year, construction contract will address bridge replacement or rehabilitation projects including detailed inspection, on-site field testing of materials and other construction activities as necessary, including field measurement and collection of data necessary to submit monthly and final estimates and progress reports, and preparation of record plans showing all changes from the contract plans. Daniel Weimer Joins Prudent Engineering as Construction Inspection Services Manager/Pittsburgh (PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA) - Prudent Engineering LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Weimer to the firm’s Construction Inspection Department as Manager, Construction Inspection Services | Pittsburgh. For Prudent, Weimer will recruit and manage the construction inspection staff in western Pennsylvania from the company’s Pi...ttsburgh office. His extensive background in construction includes oversight of QA/QC procedures, site planning and design, short- and long-range transportation planning, and highway/bridge construction inspection. Most recently, Mr. Weimer worked for Markosky Engineering Group. Mr. Weimer earned his BA Degree in Regional Planning from California University of Pennsylvania. See more

Prudent purchased a 22’ Lobell aluminum boat out of Mississippi, so we named her the Misses Zippy. She is equipped with push knees for pushing small barges, has a powerful 225 HP Honda outboard and is trailerable to anywhere in the Northeast.
