Let's look back, Did you know?! Among older adults, falls are the leading cause of injury deaths, unintentional injuries, and hospital admissions. Even minor falls can trigger a fear of falling, leading older adults to limit their day-to-day activities, lose their strength and even their independence. Many thanks to Ms. Sandra Oranvil; Injury Prevention Coordinator at Elmhurst Hospital for bringing this important seminar to our residents on October 24th. #HealthandWellness #FallPrevention #LearningOlderAdults
