On 9/30/14, join the New York Puerto Rican/Latino community and Hispanic-serving community based organizations in discussing, planning and learning about Individual and Community Preparedness, Continuity of Operations, and available resources and support. This day of emergency preparedness and planning is one of a multitude of events that are being held nationwide, on that date, as part of FEMA’s initiative, National PrepareAthon! Day. PRFAA and CLACNY believe the best way t...o observe Hispanic Heritage Month is to empower our Puerto Rican/Latino Community. This event will take place at the facilities of the American Red Cross of Greater New York located at 520 West 49th Street, New York City on the 1st Floor. Immediately after, there will be a networking reception, sponsored by Rums of Puerto Rico, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. All are welcome.
