Special Announcement from the PIFD, PLAV Post 16 and the PIVAC: The route for the Pine Island Memorial Day drive by parade on Monday, May 25, has been set. The parade will start at approximately 10:30 a.m. It will take between 2-3 hours to get to all the roads listed. Your patience is appreciated with us getting to your road as every road listed will be covered. Unfortunately we will not be going down cul-de-sacs or dead end roads except for the safe turn around for the app...aratus. If you live on such a road please walk to the end of your road to the main road listed on the route to view the parade. Due to this not being a traditional marching parade in town, please stay safely at home as the parade will come to you. We look forward to seeing the local veterans along the route and honoring you. All of District 6 in Orange County came out to thank the doctors, nurses, staff and essential workers at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Warwick this afternoon. Without their hard work and dedication, this pandemic would be very difficult to get through. This community is made up of amazing people! We thank everyone at St. Anthony’s for their dedication and sacrifice!
