The Puppy Parlour

Hello everyone! I am pleased to announce that The Puppy Parlour is opening again! Please be patient with us as we make phone calls and reschedule all of the appointments we had to cancel during the closing. We will be doing our best to get everyone scheduled in a timely matter but please be patient since we had to cancel over 100 appointments that need to be rescheduled. We will be doing our best to help keep everyone safe with diligent sanitizing but we also ask that everyo...ne wear face masks. We will also be asking you to take the collars and leashes back home with you when you leave your dog. We look forward to seeing all of your furry (shaggy) pups again!

Puppy Parlour will be temporarily closing until further notice. The mandates set by Governor Cuomo have been changing quickly and we have been doing our best to keep up with everything. This is obviously a new thing for all of us so please bear with us as we try to figure it all out. We will be closing to maintain the safety of both our clients and our families. We have spoken to any appointments affected at the moment and will be calling all scheduled appointments and cancelling them as we reassess each week. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please call, text, or FB message with any questions. I will be posting a couple of videos to help with nail trims and brushing at home as well! Of course, only do what you’re comfortable with but these videos will give some tips to help!

Update: According to Governor Cuomos latest mandate, non essential businesses must close and he has listed what is considered essential. Under this list is both veterinary services and animal care services. For now, we are considering ourselves an animal care service and will remain open. We will be taking this all day by day until further notice. If you do not feel comfortable coming to your appointment, we understand and there will be no penalties for cancellations or resch...eduled appointments but please try to let us know with as much advanced notice as you can so that we can plan our schedule accordingly. Attention Puppy Parlour customers: We have been diligently keeping up with the information on COVID-19. Thankfully the CDC says dogs aren’t spreading it but we are still doing everything we can to help prevent any spread from within the shop- the health of our human customers is important as well! The Puppy Parlour is an animal service and not a personal care service so social distancing is still possible within the shop. Therefore, we will be remaining open but we will keep... everyone updated if there are any changes! As a one on one service, the contact within the shop is relatively minimal but as a precaution to reduce contact, we will ask that you remove the dogs collars/leashes and take them with you once your dog is safely in the shop. If you are more comfortable staying in your car, let us know and we will come out and bring the dogs in the shop for you and have you pay at the car as well. There will be no penalties for any cancellations or reschedules so if you don’t feel comfortable keeping your appointment, let us know and we can discuss a future date. Also just a reminder, we do accept Venmo as a form of payment which is an app for your phone that is like a digital wallet so you can pay us without either of us having to touch the form of payment. It’s not a requirement as cash, check, and card will still be accepted as well but it is an option if you’d like to avoid all contact.
