Today was our Indian Point practice drill. November 17th will be our final FEMA evaluated drill . Bittersweet as ENTERGY will be permanently closed in April of 2021. Drill Incident Commander was Commissioner Ken Clair along with our command team Deputy Commissioner Bob Lipton , EMS Director Casey Quake, John O’Conner Emergency Manager, John Gibb Indian Point Consultant,Eric Gross PIO, Heidi Zatkovich PIO, Linda McGuinness RECS phone/scribe, Nadine Macura OEM.

On September 16th County Executive Odell and our command staff met with local Highway Supervisors and NYSEG reps to discuss future storm prep. It also gave us an opportunity to ask questions,discuss past storm issues and new procedures.
