Each year, this season of Advent comes around. We bless another candle this second week in Advent. Let us ask God to bless our family on this Second Sunday in Advent: God of new messengers, this Sunday you tell us in your Gospel I am sending my messenger ahead of you.... Help us to be your messengers of peace and reconciliation as we journey through this second week of Advent. When we light this second candle on our wreath, let us bring your light to our friends and neighbors this week. We ask this through Christ, who is the Light of the world. Amen. See more
